While the biggest fans of the work of Andrzej Sapkowski and the work of CD Projekt on the adaptation of the literary saga cheerfully celebrated the 7th anniversary of the game, the Polish studio invited itself to the party through a message posted from the game’s Twitter account. We knew that the development of versions PS5 and Xbox Series progressed at its own pace, but the uncertainty around the title’s release in 2022 was still hovering! At least until today since CD Projekt has come to dispel all doubts!

According to the publisher, The Witcher 3 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S could well and truly end up under the tree! The studio even affirms it: the next-gen version will be launched in the last quarter of 2022, i.e. between the beginning of October and the end of December 2022.. Admittedly, this is not a proper release date, but this is reassuring news: CD Projekt had planned its move for this announcement!
