Elden Ring’s multiplayer limits co-op
Luke Yui is not at his first attempt: already on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, he had created a mod for online co-op. In addition to various mods for dark souls trilogyhe also published the Randomizer mod on Elden Ring. With Elden Ring Seamless Coop, Luke Yui allows you to play cooperatively in Elden Ring with one or more friends, without the limitations base game co-op. Indeed, in Elden Ring, you have to summon another player (or more) to play cooperatively, but we are limited to specific locations. If a participant dies, if we defeat the boss for which we had called a friend as reinforcements, if we leave the cooperation zone, etc., cooperation is over. Moreover, it is a relatively asymmetrical cooperation: the summoned player character is a spirit, it is weaker than your character, and you must consume an item to summon someone. What to give ideas to From Software to enrich its multiplayer functionalities? Not sure, but sure this mod will find its audience. Note that, as very often with mods, it will surely be necessary to play offline to deactivate the anti-cheat which risks taking your mod for cheat software. Luke Yui has already published a mod to disable anti-cheat from Elden Ring in order to enjoy the other mods in peace.
Elden Ring Seamless Coop will be available on Nexus Mods from May 27, on PC of course.
